KATHMANDU – The Nepal Army has urged people not to believe in misleading and false news.
On Friday, the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepal Army issued a notice, stating that the Army regularly makes its views and activities public through press releases, press notes, and official social media, and therefore, people should not trust false reports.
“In the current situation, various types of comments, opinions, and analyses have been circulated involving the Nepal Army. The Army has been regularly making its views and activities public through press releases, press notes, and official social media. Therefore, the Nepal Army requests the general public not to believe in misleading and false news,” the notice states.
Furthermore, it has been mentioned that for information exchange related to the Nepal Army, coordination can be made with the Directorate of Public Relations and Information as well as local Brigade Headquarters.
