On Tuesday, Prime Minister Karki visited Tilganga Eye Hospital and requested Dr. Ruit to join her government as a minister. However, Dr. Ruit stated that while he would support the government, he could not participate as a minister. Speaking to journalists after meeting the Prime Minister, Dr. Ruit said, “The Prime Minister mentioned that the government has been formed in a complicated situation and I should join to help. But at this time, I cannot leave my patients. My priority is the patients. I told her that I would not participate in the government but would definitely provide support.” According to Dr. Ruit, he has assured the government of necessary support from outside.
