According to Chitwan National Park’s information officer Ashok Ram, the one-horned rhino was found dead at Bhelauji in Nawalpur. A boat patrol team found the 15-year-old rhino dead on Wednesday afternoon. The rhino was found drowned near the Gajgraha Post of the CNP. Information Officer Ram said that the legs and horn of the rhino were intact. Three rhinos have been found dead at CNP in the past one week. As many as eight rhinos have been found dead in the fiscal year.
