RSP Forms ‘Party -Parliament,Government Coordination Committee’

KATHMANDU – The ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formed a “Party-Parliament–Government Coordination Committee” to strengthen coordination among the party, the legislature, and the government.

The committee was established following a decision made at the party’s Central Committee meeting held on Baisakh 7 (April/May). It aims to ensure policy consistency, enhance transparency in decision-making, and improve the effectiveness of implementation.

According to the RSP, the committee has been created to prevent gaps in coordination between the party, parliament, and government, and to reduce policy ambiguity and delays in implementation.

The party stated that the committee will work actively to ensure policy alignment, continuous coordination, and institutional strengthening across the party organization, parliamentary party, and government representatives at all levels of policymaking, decision-making, and implementation.

General Secretary Bhup Dev Shah has been appointed as the coordinator of the committee. Sarita Shree Gyawali has been named deputy coordinator, while Ram Kumar Dhungana will serve as the member secretary.

The committee also includes party officials, central committee members, and lawmakers. Members include Ravi Kiran Adhikari, Bishal Adhikari, Aravind Sah, Karishma Kathariya, Manish Khanal, Ramesh Sapkota, and Shristi Bhattarai.
