Kaski – Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal on Monday made an a visit to the construction site of Seti Bridge, which is being constructed over the Seti River in Pokhara.
On the occasion, Minister Lamsal directed the construction company, consultant and other officials involved in the project to expedite the construction works adding that the government will not tolerate any delay in the project.
Minister Lamsal asked the stakeholders to complete the construction of the bridge at the given deadline of March 5, 2027 and added that dillydallying was not acceptable.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadga Raj Poudel was also present on the occasion.
Chief of Mugling-Pokhara Road Project (West Section Project) Krishna Bahadur Kunwar briefed about the progress of the project, stating that two houses on the north of the project site had to be compensated for demolition, which led delay in the project, requiring time for consensus. He added that there will not be further delay since the issue of compensation was settled by the administration.
The total cost of the bridge is estimated Rs 1.07 billion.
