He becomes the first federal minister to suffer from the disease caused by coronavirus. Writing a Facebook status, Tourism Minister Bhattarai announced that the result of the PCR test for Covid-19 carried out on Saturday came positive. Stating that he participated in some of the programs outside Kathmandu after his Monday’s test results came negative, Tourism Bhattarai said that he was administered the test on Saturday after he got a fever on Friday night. In his Facebook post, Minister Bhattarai said that he does not have any symptoms except mild fever. Urging others who have been in contact with him to maintain caution and carry out tests if they experience any problem, he also said that there is no alternative but to remain careful and confront the problem.
