PM Balen Shah to Meet Private Sector Leaders After 100 Days in Office


Kathmandu- Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) will meet leaders of Nepal’s private sector on Wednesday as the government completes 100 days in office.

The meeting will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

The discussion will bring together representatives of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).

Those attending include Anjan Shrestha, President of FNCCI, Ujjwal Kumar Shrestha, Chair of the FNCCI Industry Committee, Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, Immediate Past President of CNI, Dr. Ghanashyam Ojha, Director General of CNI, Kamlesh K. Agrawal, President of NCC, and Deepak Malhotra, Senior Vice President of NCC.

According to the Secretariat, discussions will focus on the country’s economic situation, the role of the private sector in promoting economic growth, and measures to strengthen cooperation between the government and the business community.

The meeting comes as the government marks its first 100 days and seeks feedback from the private sector on the country’s economic priorities.
