A 25-year-old youth from Chandanichowk, Pipara Rural Municipality in the district died due to the flu-like infection on Tuesday, according to the District Police Office in Mahottari. Superintendent of Police (SP) Tika Bahadur KC shared that the youth had tested positive for COVID-19 at the Bhaktapur-based Human Organ Transplant Centre on October 12. The youth, who was a kidney patient and seriously ill, died in the course of treatment, added SP KC.A team of Nepal Army and Nepal Police is preparing to manage the dead body at Pashupati Aryaghat today, police said.
