On the occasion of Gen Z Martyrs’ day on Tuesday, Shah paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the movement through a social media post. Addressing the Gen Z generation he wrote, “Dear Gen Z, good governance will certainly be ensured.” He also expressed his heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the movement. The Gen Z movement was launched on Bhadra 23 last year with demands for good governance. Several people were killed during the protests. The government observed Gen Z Martyrs’ day on Tuesday by declaring a public holiday across the country in memory of those who lost their lives during the movement.
