The meeting took place on Thursday afternoon at the Indian Ministry of Finance at the Kartavya Bhawan complex in the Indian capital. Members of the government delegations from both countries also participated in the meeting. Wagle is currently in India on a three-day visit at the invitation of the Indian government. The visit is his first foreign trip since assuming office as finance minister. The meeting between the two finance ministers comes as Wagle holds discussions with Indian officials as part of his visit. The two sides met at the Indian Ministry of Finance with officials from both governments joining the talks. Wagle’s visit is focused on discussions with Indian officials and strengthening economic and bilateral engagement between the two countries.
