Kathmandu [Nepal], October 2 – Nepal recorded a 12.1% year-on-year increase in international visitor arrivals in September, despite floods and landslides across parts of the country raising concerns over the autumn tourism season.
Nepal received 88,248 international visitors in September 2026, up from 78,711 in the same month last year, according to the Nepal Tourism Board.
Arrivals also increased from August, when 85,444 international visitors entered the country.
