गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Provincial Engineering College to be established in Doti Nepal Provincial Engineering College to be established in Doti KathmanduPati October 27, 2020 DOTI – A provincial level engineering college is set to be established in the Doti district. A five-member team has been formed with the leadership of former chief of University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof Dr Triratna Bajracharya. The team will determine the appropriate location to build the college once the feasibility study for the same is conducted. The team has already conducted virtual meetings with the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim State Trilochan Bhatta, Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality mayor Manju Malasi among other stakeholders regarding the establishment of the engineering college in Doti. The then Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudyal had arranged a budget for the UGC to conduct a feasibility study for the engineering college in the Doti, Bardibas, Chitwan and Dang districts, informed Doti Campus’s Associate Professor, Harka Bahadur Kattel. Dipayal Silgadhi and mayor Malasi shared that the team led by Prof Dr Bajracharya will visit Doti to conduct a study on the state of physical infrastructures in the district. It has been shared that the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank and the Australian Aid will support the construction of the engineering college in Doti.
