The impact of the Westerly wind will gradually disappear from tonight and the weather will become clear throughout the country from tomorrow. Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar said there is less chance of rainfall as this weather system has begun to exit from the western part of the country. With the weather becoming clear, mercury will also gradually drop. Clear skies and occurrence of the North-westerly wind will increase the cold. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in most parts of Province 1 and 2, as well as the Bagmati and Gandaki provinces at present, with chances of light rain in one or two places of the hilly region in these provinces. It will be generally fair in the rest of the country. As per the weather update shared by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 8.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 22.6 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature throughout the country was recorded in Jumla and the highest minimum temperature was recorded in Janakpur in the last 24 hours. The lowest temperature in Jumla was minus 0.5 degrees Celsius while the highest minimum temperature in Janakpur was 15.2 degrees Celsius.
