The secretariat meeting that started at 1 pm today lasted for two hours. Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the NCP Spokesperson, said that party chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented a separate report in response to the report of NCP executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. In his political report presented in the last secretariat meeting on November 13, Prachanda had alleged party chairman and Prime Minister Oli of not only failing to operate the government and party but also making unilateral decisions and promoting irregularities while also citing various scandals and corruption cases on his watch. Oli in today’s meeting presented his own separate report that is largely a rebuttal to Prachanda’s political document, according to party sources. Shrestha said that the next secretariat meeting will discuss both reports presented separately by Oli and Prachanda. According to Shrestha, the upcoming secretariat meeting will be convened on December 1 (Tuesday) at the party office Dhumbarahi.
