One arrested with 10kg hashish in Baitadi

BAITADI – A person has been arrested with 10 kilogrammes of hashish in the district. Chief of Baitadi Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Adhikari said that Man Bahadur Dhanuk, 30, of Bungal municipality-9 has been arrested.

A joint squad of Regional Investigation Team (RIT) of Sudurpaschim Province and District Police Office, Baitadi, held Dhanuk while acting on a special tip-off, added Adhikari.

According to RIT, Dhanuk was arrested from Modalidhar of Puchaudi municipality-6 in the district at 11:00 pm on Thursday. The District Police Office, Baitadi said further investigation into the case was underway.
