Earlier on December 3, a woman security person working at Simkot Airport was infected with the virus. On the basis of contact tracing, sample swabs of 12 security persons were collected for PCR test. The sample swabs were sent to Surkhet for PCR test and result of 11 of them tested positive, Information Office of Humla District Hospital Bhakti Phadera said. With the last record, the coronavirus tally in Humla district reached 78. All the infected security personnel are staying in the home-based isolation facility of airport security guards’ quarter, Senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwife of the District Hospital, Sarita Bohara said.
