According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, this is the lowest temperature that the Valley experienced this year. Earlier on Tuesday, the temperature in the Valley was measured at 3 degree Celsius. With the fall in temperature, Kathmandu Valley folks have been experiencing chilling cold. Valley’s temperature is falling day by day. The mercury in Kathmandu Valley was at 4 degree Celsius on Monday. Meteorologist Samir Shrestha said that the temperature has started falling gradually. The temperature would remain up and down for few days, added Shrestha. Shrestha shared that the temperature would rise in the afternoon if weather remains cloudy during night and witness fall if the sky remains clear. Districts in the Western Tarai have been experiencing biting cold all of sudden. As per the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the Kathmandu Valley’s minimum temperature is 2.8 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is 19.2 degree Celsius today. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature has been measured minus 7.1 degree Celsius in Jumla today.
