The meeting is going to be held in a while at the party office Parisdanda, according to NCP Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha. The standing committee meeting is scheduled to discuss the latest activities of the party and review its street protest against the government decision to dissolve the House of Representatives and set dates for midterm election. Though the agitating party had proposed Nepali Congress to launch joint protest against the government, the main opposition party didn’t agree on the proposal.
