Accusing him of leaking information to NCP led by Prachanda-Nepal faction, Home Minister Badal recently sacked personal aide Biru Tamang. According to Home Minister Badal’s Press Advisor Kiran Bhattarai, personal aide Tamang has been removed, with effect from February 12. Badal, appointed as the Home Minister from erstwhile CPN (Maoist-Center, is now siding with KP Sharma Oli-led camp in the NCP. Tamang has been accused of leaking confidential information to Prachanda in recent days amid worsening relations between two factions that have left the ruling party on the verge of a split. Home Minister Badal ousted his personal aide Tamang accusing him of also foiling the unity of the party’s sister wing Yuwa Sangh.
