The secretariat meeting of the party held today decided to call both standing committee and central committee to discuss the situation after the Supreme Court’s recent verdict to restore the House of Representatives. Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the NCP Spokesperson, said that the upcoming standing and central committee meetings will chart out the party’s strategy in the House session. However, the party has not fixed the date of the standing committee meeting and central committee meeting. The secretariat meeting has also decided to request the Election Commission to settle the dispute related to the legitimacy of the NCP.
