गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Two dead due to water tank outburst in Bajhang Nepal Two dead due to water tank outburst in Bajhang KathmanduPati April 06, 2021 BAJHANG – Two people died following an outburst of a water tank set up under the Prime Minister Agricultural Modernisation Programme at Talkot rural municipality-1 in Bajhang. The deceased have been identified as Gokul Kunwar, 52, and Sundari Devi Kunar, 48. Gokul died on the spot while Sundari Devi died amidst the treatment at Amisha Hospital Chainpur, said District Police Office Chief deputy superintendent of police Rupak Khadka. The accident happened as the two were busy in accumulating water in the tank. Water for the project is brought from the Seti River through lifting. The cemented tank was mended as it had developed cracks and started leaking a week ago. According to eye witness, local Gopal Kunwar the tank erupted all of a sudden. The family of Sundari Devi accused Amisha Hospital of negligence in her treatment and pushing her to death. Her spouse Gopal Kunwar said she suffered injury to her leg. They have picketed the hospital, seeking action against the doctor involved in her treatment.
