Talking to media persons today at Biratnagar airport, he said the formation of committees at the district-level was for not splitting the party. “It is for further encouraging party cadres and uniting the party.” As he said, the party was committed to ensuring good governance and improving people’s living standard by establishing norms and values of democratic federalism. The former Prime Minister said he had a respect to the Supreme Court’s verdict and wanted the restoration of posts of all office-bearers elected before 16th May, 2018. He was referring to the Supreme Court’s announcement to revive the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist-Center) by invalidating the move to form the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) through the unification of two parties on 16th May, 2018. Responding to a query, he said the no-confidence motion introduced against the province government was withdrawn due to some compulsion. He took time to accuse the present party leadership of de-motivating party cadres and disintegrating party organisations. He promised to strengthen the party by uniting all cadres.
