Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 27,241. The number of active infected has reached 9,639. Dr. Gautam informed that the number of people currently under quarantine at their own homes is 2,601. Similarly, 160 infected people have recovered in the past 24 hours while a total of 17, 495 throughout Nepal who were previously corona infected have returned home after undergoing treatment. He further stated that 15,198 people are in quarantine. 11,520 PCR tests have been taken, and two people have died in the past 24 hours, raising the number of deaths from coronavirus infections to 107.
