He said it at a gathering and training session organised by Nepal Dalit Association, Kathmandu. Party leaders and cadres should be alert as efforts were underway to affect the general convention under various pretexts, Singh stressed. In another context, the leader accused the incumbent government of failure to meet expectation and spirit of the people. Claiming that the party was always with the country and the people in need and during crisis, he maintained that NC-led government should be formed to clear present political impasse. On the occasion, President of the NC, Kathmandu, Sabuj Baniya, underscored the need for ending groupism and sub-groupism within the NC to strengthen the party.
