गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Vehicles used by Mayor and Deputy-Mayor utilized to carry Covid-19 infected people Nepal Vehicles used by Mayor and Deputy-Mayor utilized to carry Covid-19 infected people KathmanduPati May 06, 2021 KATHMANDU – The vehicles used by Mayor and Deputy-Mayor of Tilottama municipality in Rupandehi have been utilized to carry Corona Virus infected people. Mayor Basudev Ghimire and Deputy-Mayor Jageshwori Chaudhari decided to provide their vehicles to use the vehicles for Covid-19 infected people. They took the decision in this regard after number of people infected with Corona Virus started increasing day by day as well as ambulances are not available on time. The municipality has been operating two ambulances. With the decision of Mayor and Deputy- Mayor, four vehicles would carry Covid-19 infected people. Mayor Ghimire said that the vehicles used by them have been brought into use for Corona Virus infected people in order to provide service quickly and easy manner. Mayor and Deputy-Mayor handed over key of their vehicles to Corona focal person Keshav Bhattarai today. Similarly, the municipality has brought 40-bed isolation centre providing service of Corona Hospital into operation at Shankarnagar. Activities have been forwarded in order to construct 60-bed isolation centre at Ward no 9.
