According to the Ministry of Health and Population, this number of COVID-19 cases was confirmed in course of conducting 20,596 RT-PCR tests and 720 antigen tests. A total of 9,271 people tested positive for coronavirus while the death toll from the infection was 139 on Monday. Meanwhile, 225 people succumbed to coronavirus infection in last 24 hours. With this, the total death toll due to COVID-19 reached 4,084. Similarly, 5 thousand 225 persons have returned home after recovery. At present, the country has 97,008 reported active cases of COVID-19 while the total number of infected cases has reached 413 thousand 111. Three hundred twelve thousand 19 people have recovered so far.
