This is the highest death toll recorded in a ward in the district of Dailekh. Of the nine, six had gone test for coronavirus while three others had developed the symptoms of coronavirus including fever, chest and body pain, and flu, Coordinator of Gauri Health Post Ramesh Lamsal said. Two died in Indian and seven others died in Surkhet and Dailekh districts, according to Lamsal. As the migrant workers returned from Indian cities with the spread of second wave of coronavirus, such a huge number of people lost their lives in 15 days. It is believed that the virus spread from among the India returnee migrants in the village. Mayor of Dullu Municipality Ghanshyam Bhandari said that a team of doctors has reached Gauri after more than 100 people got infected from coronavirus.
