गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Infection and fatality rises in Bhaktapur, 95 infected in home isolation Nepal Infection and fatality rises in Bhaktapur, 95 infected in home isolation KathmanduPati May 22, 2021 BHAKTAPUR – Rate of infection as well as death due to COVID-19 continues to rise in Bhaktapur. As of Friday, 271 people have died of COVID-19 in the district, according to District Health Office, Bhaktapur. So far, 17,576 have been infected and the number of active cases in 4,555. Of them 4,134 are in home isolation and others in hospital and institutional isolation. As of today, 12,990 have recovered from the virus, Chief of the Office Krishna Mijar said. The highest number of active cases of infection as well as death has been recorded in Madhyapur Thimi followed by Surya Binayak, and Bhaktapur and then Chagunarayan municipalities. All the hospitals in Bhaktpur are packed with infected patients.
