गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Two people arrested with pistols Nepal Two people arrested with pistols KathmanduPati August 20, 2020 Kathmandu- Police here have arrested two people on the charge of illegally possessing two pistols and 10 rounds of bullets. The pistols bear a ‘Made in USA’ label. 27-year old Bikesh Pundit of Nuwakot was arrested in Machhapokhari in Kathmandu on Wednesday. Similarly, 28-year old Amar Tamang, who was also involved in the transaction of such illegal arms, was arrested today in Nuwakot. According to Metropolitan Police Office and Metropolitan Crime Division SSP Deepak Thapa, the pistols belong to Shambhu Karki of Dhanusha. Karki and Lama had been in touch while staying in jail. SSP Thapa further shared that the preliminary investigation shows that Tamang had ordered Karki to deliver the pistols to Nuwakot from Machhapokhari. Tamang has recently been released from jail after completing a six-year jail term on an uprising case.
