The arrested is 24-year-old Deepak Shrestha from Neelkantha municipality-4 in Dhading. He was apprehended from Sano Bharyang of Kathmandu. Others two doing the same (unethical) business have succeeded to fled, according to the Metropolis Police Range, Kathmandu. Acting on a tip off that Indian national Roshan Jaisawal currently residing at Thankot was engaged in producing substandard hand sanitiser and cosmetic products by misusing the logos and brand names of several Indian companies, police raided their station from where 200 cartoons for hand sanitizer were also confiscated. Besides, the Indian national was found to have been involved in producing duplicate cosmetic products in partnership with his colleague who is also from India and Shrestha. They were found renting a room at Sano Bharyang. They have registered a company in the name of Srinath Herbal and Cosmetic Industry Pvt Ltd. Range Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Basnet informed that house where the illegal business was taking place has been sealed and the two are being searched for.
