He claimed that there is no option to election now for also to implement the Constitution. “Some political parties are afraid of election”, Finance Minister Poudel said while inaugurating the office of the Kaligandaki Tinau Diversion Multipurpose Project in Butwal today. He urged one and all to stay prepared for election as it was announced as a compelling option. The government is moving ahead by setting new milestones in the country’s development in the areas of infrastructure development, human development index and transformation in the lives of the people, the Finance Minister claimed. A situation has emerged to go for fresh mandate when the incumbent House of Representatives (HoR) could not assure political stability and speed up development campaign, he argued. Minister Poudel further noted that the project would be of a key national pride project of the country to live up to the country’s prosperity. The cost estimation of the project is Rs 138 billion, including Rs 64 billion for power generation and 74 billion for irrigation infrastructure development.
