At a special function held at Rastrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas this evening, Prime Minister Deuba took the oath of office and secrecy. President Bhandari had appointed Prime Minister to the post of Prime Minister today itself in accordance with the Supreme Court’s Monday verdict. Also present on the occasion were the Vice-President, the Speaker, the Chief Justice, heads and office-bearers of Constitutional Bodies, former Prime Ministers, political party leaders, high-ranking government officials and media persons.
