Municipality’s health section’s officer Dr Ankit Poudel said the records show that a total of 51,582 individuals of different age groups (eligible for the vaccine) were administered the vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2. Of them, 5,520 are jabbed the Covishield while 38,882 got Vero Cell. Similarly, 7,200 got the Janssen & Janssen vaccines. “We have a limited stock of vaccines, but its demand is unlimited. So it has not been possible to provide vaccines to all at once,” municipality spokesperson Nawa Raj Bhattarai said. Vaccination centers have been established at ward level to avoid the probable misuse of the vaccine. Since Friday, there are eight vaccination centers in Budhanilakantha and there were only two centers before.
