गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Karnali Highway obstructed Nepal Karnali Highway obstructed KathmanduPati August 01, 2021 KARNAL I – The Karnali Highway has been obstructed after a landslide occurred at Chaukhola of Khandachakra Municipality-10 at 10:00 am today. The District Administration Office said efforts were continued to clear the landslide deposition and restore the Highway. According to Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Acharya said the efforts were going on to restore the Highway. The Department of Roads and the local governments were collaborating towards that end. “We target to prepare the road ready for the operation of vehicular movement by this evening,” he added. Goods-laden containers and passengers buses en route to Surkhet and Nepalgunj from Jumla and to Jumla from Surkhet have left stranded with the disruption of the Highway, according to a local Raj Bahadur Malla.
