Meteorologist Prativa Manandhar said the monsoon would still remain active for the next three days as the low-pressure belt lies a little bit south from Nepal and low-pressure system lies towards the north-west part of the Bay of Bengal. Manandhar added there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at the most of the places of the country for the next three days. The sky is now generally to partly cloudy in the Gandaki Province while other provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy. Similarly, light to moderate rainfall is taking place at some places of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces. The weather will be generally to fully cloudy across the country in the afternoon and light to moderate rainfall has been predicted at most parts of the country. According to the Department, heavy rainfall along with thunder has been forecast at one or two places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces. As per the latest details provided by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was measured at 21.1 degree Celsius followed by the maximum temperature of 28.2 degree Celsius.
