Issuing a notice today, the Province Assembly Secretariat postponed the third meeting of the ninth session till August 23. Lawmakers of the main opposition party, CPN (UML) have been obstructing the House continuously, demanding to relieve its two lawmakers-Ajay Shahi and Bimala Oli of their posts. The CPN (UML) has taken action against Shahi and Oli after they supported Kul Bahadur KC-led government. The Central Committee of the CPN (UML) has already submitted a letter to Province Assembly Secretariat through Provincial Parliamentary Party regarding the action taken against Shahi and Oli. The CPN (UML) has been demanding to read out the letter at the Provincial Assembly and to relieve them of their posts.
