On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba and his spouse Dr Arzu Rana performed pooja (worship) to Banglamukhi Goddess and Unmatta Bhairav in the temple premises. PM Deuba and his spouse Rana received Rudraksha garlands as the Prasad from main priest Madhav Shyam Sharma. The five-storied temple was damaged by the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake. Though, the renovation bid of the temple was completed 1.5 months back, the temple was inaugurated today following the special date and hour. The temple was renovated at a total cost of 28.5 million rupees.
