Karnali- At least six doctors at the state hospital in Surkhet have tested positive for the coronavirus. According to a source at the hospital, two consultants and four medical officers were diagnosed with the disease.<\/p>\n
An additional health worker has also been tested positive for the virus. \u00a0Hospital Director Dr. Dambar Khadka stated that there had been a large intake of infected people at hospital, and that the transmission risk was high from those who had the virus but who were yet to be tested and diagnosed.<\/p>\n
\nCurrently, 23 patients are undergoing treatment at the hospital, where OPD department has been shut down for a week from today onward after the confirmation of the virus among doctors.<\/p>\n
