Those observing a fast visited historical ponds like Ganga Sagar and Argajal to make the offerings to the rising sun including specially made delicacies, fruits and agro produces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Women take the lead during this festival, with a resolution for the welfare of their families and societies. This festival is received as a victory of truth over violence and sympathy to all living creatures.
