Ltd. has continued its famed CSR campaign Good with Internet for another year. The CSR initiative kicked off during the COVID-enforced lockdown to help people deprived of educational opportunities simply because they could not afford the internet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The initiative was started in response to the story of Pratibha Didi-who had come from Kavre to Kathmandu to educate her child but faced difficulties in the pandemic-enforced online world-posted by Human\u2019s Kathmandu on their social media platform. After learning about the story, Vianet went ahead and supported the family with the internet to enable the child\u2019s education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This single act turned into a CSR campaign called Good with Internet that supports families that cannot afford the internet and thereby their children\u2019s education simply because they cannot afford the internet. At its core, Vianet\u2019s Good with Internet is an attempt to help people stay connected to the internet for educational opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The connectivity, as well as affordability of the internet, has been getting even better in recent years. Yet, there are many children deprived of quality educational opportunities simply because they cannot afford the internet. And the company wants to reach out to them to the best of its ability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the second year of the initiative, Vianet helped people like Dalli didi from Jumla-who has set-up a street shop at Charapath\u2019s junction to educate her four children, Amala didi from Dolakha, who sells panipuri at Kapan to educate her son and a daughter and the likes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company plans to help many such families in the coming years, and has called for people to reach out to the company via their implementing partner @Human\u2019sofKathmandu.
