However, the revenue collected by the office in the period from mid-July to mid-September has exceeded the target.<\/p>\n<p>Chief customs officer Shantiram Niraula informed that the customs office has collected revenue amounting to Rs 1.68 billion in the first month (mid-July to mid-August) of the current fiscal year. The target for the month was Rs 947.5 million, he shared, adding that the collection is over 56 percent than the target.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, a revenue of Rs 1.46 billion was raised in the second month (mid-August to mid-September) of the current fiscal year against the target of Rs 1 billion.
