The festival is being organizing to maintain the vibrancy of Jhamsikhel\u2019s tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The festival is also part of the government&#8217;s ongoing efforts to promote domestic tourism, said Chairperson of Jhamsikhel Youth Club, Sandan Thapa Magar. The street festival is being organized once every four years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It started in 2008 and was held in 2012, 2016, and 2019. According to the organizers, the street festival will have many attractions including a Rock concert featuring Mukti and Revival, Anuprastha, Cobweb, and the new addition, Brothers N Band. Lok Dohori singers including Komal Oli and standup comedy performances by artists like Raja Rajendra, Purna Thapa, and Ravi Dangol are other attractions of the festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, the streets of Jhamsikhel will have food, handicraft, and face painting stalls along with bingo and carnival games for children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LALITPUR &#8211; The Jhamsikhel Youth Club is organizing the 5th Jhamsikhel Street Festival on coming February 3.
