{"id":2268,"date":"2020-09-25T15:47:18","date_gmt":"2020-09-25T10:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=2268"},"modified":"2020-09-25T15:47:18","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T10:02:18","slug":"rainfall-damages-housespaddy-and-vegetables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=2268","title":{"rendered":"Rainfall damages houses,paddy and vegetables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BARA :<\/strong> Paddy, vegetables and houses have suffered damages in Bara, Parsa and Rautahat due to the incessant rainfall that has been taking place for the past few days as a result of the westerly low-pressure system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eight houses have collapsed in Bara, and paddy and vegetables planted on thousands of hectares of land have been damaged due to the rainfall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spokesperson at the District Police Office in Bara, Deputy Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra, said that a house of a man named Devraj Mukhiya in Kulhabi municipality-7 has been damaged. Similarly, the houses of Bunilal Paswan, Surendra Paswan of Pachrauta municipality-1, Chhabilal Yadav of Simraungadh municipality-8, Ramashish Sah Kanu of Gadimai municipality-4 have also been damaged.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The rain has also damaged a house in Mahagadhimai municipality-2, leaving the owner compelled to take shelter in his neighbour\u2019s house. Likewise, property worth Rs 800,000 has been damaged after the Ram Kumari Kunwar of Thori rural municipality collapsed due to the heavy rain. Her family is taking shelter at neighbor Subhadra Rimal\u2019s house.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the rainfall has caused huge damages, no human casualty has been reported, said chairperson of Thori rural municipality, PL Shrestha.
