{"id":2702,"date":"2020-10-06T13:55:43","date_gmt":"2020-10-06T08:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=2702"},"modified":"2020-10-06T13:55:43","modified_gmt":"2020-10-06T08:10:43","slug":"gandaki-state-government-aids-flood-survivors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=2702","title":{"rendered":"Gandaki state government aids flood survivors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BAGLUNG :<\/strong> The Gandaki state government has provided relief aid to the flood survivors of Dhorpatan municipality and Nisikhola and Tamankhola rural municipalities in Baglung district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Gandaki state government has provided Rs 50,000 each to 37 families of the deceased and disappeared in the catastrophic flood and landslide that occurred at Dhorpatan on September 2. As many as 22 people had lost their family in the disaster.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Likewise, relief has been handed to five families of the Nisikhola and Tamankhola rural municipalities who lost their members to the landslides that occurred during the months of June, July and August.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of the Gandaki state Hari Bahadur Chuman distributed the relief amount to the survivors on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chief District Officer Suresh Neupane shared that the state government had provided Rs 2.1 million to the 42 disaster-affected families in the western belt of the district.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BAGLUNG : The Gandaki state government has provided relief aid to the flood survivors of Dhorpatan municipality and Nisikhola and Tamankhola rural municipalities in Baglung district.
