Kathmandu – The Sunsari District Administration Office has lifted the curfew order in various areas of the district while continuing the prohibition order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Indra Dev Prasad Aryal, the curfew has been lifted today from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, a curfew had been imposed from 9:00 pm on July 28 until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though the curfew has been lifted, gatherings of more than five people in designated areas as well as processions, demonstrations, meetings, assemblies, and sit-ins, are prohibited as per Clause 6(3)(a) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The prohibition will remain in effect in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-16 and 17, Ramdhuni Municipality-1 and 5 within 200 meters on either side of Mahendra Highway, the entire areas of Inaruwa Municipality and Duhabi Municipality, and in Bhokraha Narsingh, Koshi, Ghadi, Dewanganj, Harinagar, and Barju rural municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until further notice, more than five people are not allowed to gather in the designated areas, and any kinds of processions, demonstrations, assemblies, meetings, or sit-ins are prohibited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
