{"id":29732,"date":"2026-08-10T11:24:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T05:39:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=29732"},"modified":"2026-08-10T11:24:46","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T05:39:46","slug":"nepal-pm-meets-indian-chinese-envoys-separately-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=29732","title":{"rendered":"Nepal PM meets Indian, Chinese envoys separately today"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu [Nepal], August 10 &#8211; <\/strong>Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold separate meetings with the ambassadors of India and China to Nepal on Monday, according to officials familiar with the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meetings will take place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a source at Nepal&#8217;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Shah will first meet Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava at 11:00 am later in the day he is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese Ambassador Chen Song at 3:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government has not disclosed the agenda for either meeting and no official statement has been issued outlining the issues expected to be discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The separate engagements come as Nepal maintains diplomatic engagement with its two immediate neighbours both of which are key development and strategic partners.
