Kathmandu [Nepal], August 10 – <\/strong>Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah, held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming on Sunday discussing ways to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting took place at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the talks the two sides exchanged views on further deepening Nepal-China relations promoting cooperation across multiple sectors, and enhancing development partnership. They also discussed working together in areas of mutual interest to reinforce the long-standing relationship between the neighbouring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Shah emphasized the importance of building on the historical friendship between Nepal and China and highlighted the need to advance collaboration in sectors that serve the shared interests of both nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassador Zhang congratulated Prime Minister Shah and reaffirmed China’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and practical cooperation with Nepal. He expressed confidence that the two countries would continue to work closely to expand their partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting comes as Nepal and China maintain engagement on development cooperation and diplomatic exchanges.
