{"id":3986,"date":"2020-11-27T15:26:48","date_gmt":"2020-11-27T09:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=3986"},"modified":"2020-11-27T15:26:48","modified_gmt":"2020-11-27T09:41:48","slug":"provide-health-treatment-to-covid-19-infected-refugees-on-par-with-nepali-citizens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=3986","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Provide health treatment to COVID-19 infected refugees on par with Nepali citizens&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KATHMANDU &#8211;<\/strong> The government has instructed concerned bodies to provide cost-free PCR tests and treatment for COVID-19 to the refugees from various countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Associate Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari has urged the provincial and local level laboratories and hospitals to provide free PCR tests and treatment for COVID-19 to citizens from various countries staying in Nepal as refugees, on the basis of their refugee identity card.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The government has made arrangements to provide cost-free tests and treatment at government-owned laboratories and hospitals for those refugees showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foreigners from several countries including Bhutan have been living as refugees in Nepal.
