In their joint statement, former chief justices Min Bahadur Rayamajhi, Anup Raj Sharma, Kalyan Shrestha and Sushila Karki have said that the dissolution of the House was unconstitutional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI want to tell them [former chief justices] that it does not behoove the people like them who have already reached to the supreme position of the apex court to unduly influence or threaten the Supreme Court,\u201d said Prime Minister Oli. \u201cWhy do we need the court if they start issuing a verdict?\u201d he questioned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also urged the former justices to respect the independent judiciary.
