{"id":5453,"date":"2021-01-27T15:31:28","date_gmt":"2021-01-27T09:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=5453"},"modified":"2021-01-27T15:38:43","modified_gmt":"2021-01-27T09:53:43","slug":"sharing-immunization-experience-apf-hospitals-doctor-dsp-jha-urges-people-not-to-fear-covid-vaccine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.kathmandupati.com\/?p=5453","title":{"rendered":"Sharing immunization experience, APF Hospital\u2019s Doctor DSP Jha urges people not to fear Covid vaccine\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KATHMANDU-\u00a0<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The government today launched the nationwide vaccination campaign.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frontline responders like doctors, health workers, sanitation workers and security personnels are receiving the Covid-19 vaccines in the first phase.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At a time when there are distrust and fears among some over the Covid vaccine, those who have received the first dose of the vaccine urge others to become confident toward the inoculation.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One among those who received the jab today is Armed Police Force DSP Dr Roshan Kumar Jha.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DSP Dr Jha, a physician at the APF Hospital in Balambu, said that there is no need to get afraid of the Covid vaccine as it does not have any side effects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe have got the Covid vaccine for the first time in Nepa. I was also administered the vaccine today morning. I am not scared. We are also doctors and were mobilized on the frontline during the pandemic. It has been over four hours since I received the jab and I haven&#8217;t got any serious adverse reactions,\u201d Dr Jha shared his experiences of receiving the vaccine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stating that the vaccine is a must to prevent from getting sick with Covid-19, he urged people to get the vaccine without any worries or fears.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to DSP Dr Jha, the APF Hospital\u00a0 has administered Covid vaccine to over 150 people so far. No one has reported any side effects so far, he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf you get your turn, it&#8217;s beneficial to have a vaccine upon a physician\u2019s supervision. It&#8217;s the vaccine that can protect you from the infection of coronavirus,\u201d DSP Dr Jha said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DSP Dr Jha was on the frontline of Covid-19 pandemic.
